The Singles Bar: Clancy Pye – Sunday Drive

If you grew up in the country, you likely basked in the warm glow of a Sunday afternoon drive. Hills popped up as the road wound round and round for miles. Clancy Pye regales her own story about those long, lazy days where the only stress was finding where to ride off to next. “Sunday Drive” tingles and exudes a freedom you can’t get anywhere else. “You can be my neon sign / I’ll be your front porch light,” she sings, a sweetness dripping from her tongue. It’s like a freshly picked ripe strawberry in the summer, so refreshing and just tasty.
