Freshly Squeezed, Vol. 168: Madison Beer, Frances Luke Accord & more!

Enjoy new songs from Jaguar Jonze, Alex Shera, The Record Summer, Fox and Bones, Kalie Shorr, and more!

Welcome to Freshly Squeezed, a weekly new music playlist: spanning country, pop, EDM and urban, mainstream and other.

Madison Beer is about to snatch some wigs. Her debut LP, Life Support, is finally here. And honestly? It’s bops on bops on bops. “Blue” is that tear-stained sad banger we always needed but never knew. “We were like a California sunset,” she sings. Her vocal is tangy sweet, a bit of an acidic bite to drive her emotional stakes into your heart. Wowza.

Frances Luke Accord cut the placidness of their song “Sunnyside” with a bit of humor, reimagining American Gothic for the cover art. Musically, they plants lush strings deep in the earth, allowing each instrument to sprout and grow toward the sun like vines. There’s a true cleansing power to the performance.

The new playlist also includes Vandoliers, The Record Summer, Jaguar Jonze, Alex Shera, Maggie Rose, Fox and Bones, Joe Piotrowski, Kalie Shorr, and more!

In all, we’ve got 30 new tracks to soothe your mind during these terrible pandemic times. Insert heart emoji.

Each playlist will be refreshed every Friday or Saturday. We reserve the right to update anytime during the week, so make sure you bookmark this page.
